Most golfers who are beginners or even competition players do not carry a rule book with them during their round. One of the primary reasons is because using the Official R & A rule book usually takes a considerable time to locate the rule they need. Now this is no longer a problem as Better Sports Pocket Guides Pty Ltd has published a rules guide that covers the majority of rules that these golfers need to access during a round.
The Better Sports Pocket Golf Guide is a project Dean and his father Les, brought to life many years ago. In 2008 they made the decision to resurrect the guide. The guide now comes in two forms. The Printed version is a full colour booklet in concertina form that fits easily in your breast or trouser pocket. It is finished with a varnish coating that makes it weather resistant. The iPhone application has the same information as the printed version but allows the golfer to access the rule either by index selection or by swiping the screen.
